History[]

I’m in another stage of my life and now look back on the previous. Life in Ravinda was bland, well as bland as life on the Blight border can be. Kandor was of course never calm or settled with the trolloc attacks and all, but that’s the way of life there. My father Alydrin, an ex-soldier who later in life retired and became a merchant and mother Maylene, are both Kandori. While growing up my father taught me and my two brothers a little of how to use the sword and to fight but he wished the life of a common merchant for us. We would be safer doing that than running in to the Blight in our youthful ignorance seeking glory. He got his wish with one of my brothers but the other now serves the Throne of Clouds. I of course want to fight as well. I want to fight the shadow until Mother’s Last Embrace. I don’t want glory though I just want to know that people after me will have the same world to live in that I grew up in or even a better one if the Light wills it. I’m

a long way from Kandor now. A long way from my siblings, my parents, and my home. Home…. Home is a place bound always to your heart and soul. I traveled far, overcame lack of food, overcame the cold, overcame the feelings I had about leaving all I had ever known to make my home Tar Valon. To go where the White Tower wills me and fight where the Amyrlin Seat points. I will fight the shadow and protect my charge at any cost including my life! *Shakes head* I Come out of my deep thought and see myself in my mirror in my room at the inn. Slender like a blade with dark eyes a fair blonde hair that’s almost white. I am dressed in loose fitting shirt and breeches, both a light shade of green. A hilt sticking up over by shoulder from the narrow bladed swords strapped across my back. “Well I am ready as I’ll ever be,” I say out loud to myself. Time to present myself to the White Tower.
