Physical description : With short auburn hair,emerald green eyes which have orange flecks in them,a petite frame and a really warm smile,Shanra Amread is considered to be one of the prettiest girls on the eastern border.
Personality: Along with her looks, Shanra also has an attractive personality. She is very friendly and has a witty sense of humour.She is extremely frank and always speaks her mind, sometimes this has lead to fierce arguments in the Borders. All in all, Shanra Amread is friendly, direct, witty, short tempered and likeable.
History: Shanra was born daughter of Darline Amread, the head gardener of a minor noble?s mansion. As she lived the life of a royal servant, Shanra was well educated and was well brought up. At the young age of 13, Shanra indulged in two new fields, the first one was writing.The second was learning to fight with two Ghealdan daggers and a sword. In both fields she was very talented and flourished.When she was fourteen, Shanra defeated her trainer,Raheed,and after that stopped learning from him.
While she was a childin Amador,like everyone else she had the same hate,fear and prejudice against the Tar Valon witches.
Yet, as she grew older Shanra gained an unsurpressed fascination for the White Tower. Shanra began writing against the beliefs of the White Cloaks when it came to Aes Sedai.
A few months after that, Shanra was named darkfriend and was thrown out of her house and was told to be gone from the country of Amador.She was 14 at that time.
For a year Shanra traveled around the world, searching for Aes Sedai, so that she could be tested, so that it could be known if she could channel.
One day, her wish came true. She was talking loudly in an inn about how the White Cloaks were wrong about the Tower women and how she too wanted to be Aes Sedai.
A woman with smooth cheeks and wise eyes came to her and said, ?Do not speak of matters you do not know of. Come with me.?
She, Shanra Amread who had been so confident and sure that she would be Aes Sedai, could not?for she could not channel.
Shanra was shattered, she had no where to go and nothing to do. She could not be Aes Sedai.
The Aes Sedai looked at her daggers and said, ?And yet I think you might have some skill with the blade. If you are really interested in the Tower, go pledge yourself as Tower Trainee of Tar Valon.?
And Shanra did.
